Wrestling Basics

Who: Any kid from Morristown , Morris Twp or Morris Plains 1st - 8th grade

Where: Frelinghuysen Middle School , Morristown

When: Practice 2X per week for 1st and 2nd graders (Dec & Jan), 3X per week for 3rd grade and above (Nov - Feb)

A program for each wrestler’s needs, kids advance to next level when they show ability to focus in practice setting and have acquired the skills (advancements can be made during the season.):

Why:

  • #1 because its safe and fun (you have to come and see for yourself)
  • We give you 2 weeks to come and try it out before committing
  • It’s a fun sport for kids who like contact sports (football, lacrosse, soccer). Kids compete against kids their own size (where else can a small kid be a champion?)

If the idea of wrestling brings fear to your mind based upon the images portrayed by what you have seen on t.v., then put your mind at ease.
